Twist is a good guy, no quirks or vices, quiet while still capable and athletic. He has flashy coloring, comfortable gaits, with a ground-covering canter, not choppy like many draft crosses. I hunted him twice two seasons ago and he did fine, even led past things other experienced horses were afraid of and led over a fence out of a cow pasture. I'd have to still call him green however as I have not done a lot of work with him in t he ring over fences. Hehas jumpedmore in the field and even schooled over cross country eventing obstacles. His style over fences is wonderful, free jumping he tucks up tight in front and behind, very nice! He's trail ridden a lot. He'd make a super pleasure horse or field hunter for a tall gentleman. Twist can be a tad lazy in the arena, but goes forward very willingly on the trail. He also was originally broke using a western saddle so is accustomed to that as well as english tack. I just do not have much time for riding/training due to work. I've owned him since he was only a 2 y.o. www.reynardfarm.com Can also see him at Youtube: Twist spottedDraft Cross
